Raiffeisen Mein ELBA
Consumer Banking Platform redesign.
OLD DASHBOARD
2021 REDESIGN
Overview
Raiffeisen Bank, Austria’s largest consumer bank, operates as a community-based institution with local branches acting as stakeholders. This structure means that any major redesign must account for diverse regional priorities and a wide range of user needs. In early 2020, the bank initiated a complete overhaul of its consumer banking platform. The goal: to build a modern, responsive application that serves over 5 million customers. From opening their first account to professionals and retirees managing their finances.
Challenges
The redesign aimed for a cleaner look without losing essential features. It had to be responsive and intuitive for over 5 million users, from age 15 to 99.
Role
Working with graphic and UX designers from my team and a supporting agency, and incorporating user needs from stakeholders, I was hired as Head of UX to oversee the project with a strong focus on user experience.

New Feature: Product Cards
On average, customers use 2 to 3 banking products such as loans, savings accounts and investment portfolios. The new product switch at the top of each main page allows easy access and smooth transitions between them.
